What’s this?

Journalists Anne Hadley, 29, and her colleague Casey Joyner, mid-thirties, are riding a wave after helping capture a high-society serial killer; a feat that won them a coveted journalism award and a bullet train from The New York Journal to The New York Times.

The morning after the awards ceremony, Anne is horrified to discover her close friend and master baker Grace Juniper dead. The cops say it’s a botched robbery, but the only items missing are a box of old letters and Grace’s prized centuries-old sourdough starter.

When another baker turns up dead, Anne and Casey follow the trail from New York to a high-stake sourdough contest in St. Vith, Belgium and back again. As the body count rises, Anne’s search to find the killer becomes a frantic race against time.

For most of my career, I worked behind the scenes in the legal world, first managing a litigation support company in Tucson, Arizona and as a project manager at law firms in New York and Boston. The day I walked away two years ago I started writing and haven’t stopped since! I live in the coastal town of Westerly, RI. with my husband and, hopefully soon, a cat and a dog.
