Fantasy in the classical tradition: heroes and villains locked in eternal struggle, creatures wondrous and terrible, romance, mortality, and adventures spanning diverse landscapes. Christian faith emerges organically during moments of profound tragedy, when characters grapple with the most vexing of questions: “Why?” specifically, why humanity persists in visiting evil upon itself.
In an age when old powers stir and the memory of truth has grown thin, a quiet flame is rekindled.
Across shattered roads and forgotten lands, soldiers, wanderers, and the broken-hearted are drawn together by signs they scarcely understand. Ancient cities whisper of judgment long delayed. Dark watchers move unseen. And beneath the weight of grief, fear, and doubt, a greater question presses upon every soul: Will the light endure when the world grows dim?
At the heart of the journey stands Jon, a warrior-prophet marked not by crown or blade, but by obedience to The One God. Through perilous valleys, ruined strongholds, and lands claimed by shadow, his words kindle courage where hope has failed, calling ordinary men and women to walk a path appointed before they knew its cost.
Flame of The One God is an epic tale of faith tested by fire, of loss that does not have the final word, and of a light that cannot be extinguished. Rich in mythic depth and lyrical prose, this novel weaves battle and prophecy with mercy and quiet endurance, echoing the great high fantasies of old while offering a story grounded in eternal truth.
For those who believe that even the smallest flame can withstand the darkness, this is a journey worth taking.
Since my teenage years, I have held a deep admiration for Leonardo da Vinci, aspiring to embody the spirit of the Renaissance humanist, one who pursues both technical mastery and artistic expression. This early influence shaped the course of my life, guiding both my professional career and personal pursuits.
I built my career in engineering design, specializing in technical drawings in the aircraft industry. This work demanded precision, discipline, and a keen understanding of complex systems.
My avocations include pen-and-ink drawing, jewelry design, stained-glass window design, writing, and photography. Each of these pursuits reflects a desire not only to create but to explore beauty, structure, and meaning across different media.
In my younger years, I was also actively engaged in music and athletics, including volleyball and racquetball, which shaped my character through both physical and artistic disciplines.
I am also an Army veteran, an experience that contributed to my discipline and sense of purpose.
At the core of my life is a deep and abiding faith in the God of the Bible. Faith stands as my greatest passion, guiding my path and giving enduring meaning to both my work and creative endeavors.
