Identical twin brothers, Elijah Hirsch and Hansie Muller (nee Jacob Hirsch), born and separated in 1900 Berlin, meet for the first time decades later in Auschwitz: One a Jewish prisoner, the other his Nazi guard. Standing in their way is Dr. Josef Mengele, the concentration camp’s maniacal head physician. His fanaticism involves experimenting on identical Jewish twins by exchanging their body parts and analyzing the results. All without anesthesia. The twins know they will be next if they are discovered, and to save their lives, they plan a daring escape. Now the race is on.
I started as a professional actor/singer and Broadway producer of the musical Canterbury Tales. I also wrote the book and lyrics for three produced musicals. This is my debut novel, and I have three other books that are ready to be presented to agents.
