Vanna built the steampunk difference machine that tore open the worlds. Now the Clockwork Mountain churns at the heart of an alien plain, its gates bleeding demons into the light. Three armies converge—silver Elvor, ragged brutes, the thundering grub river—and only Vanna can close what she opened. To save two worlds, she must destroy her own creation. The mountain wakes.

What’s this?

The Clockwork Mountain is urban portal fantasy with the scope of epic fantasy. Vanna is a programmer—sharp, relentless, an unstoppable heroine who answers catastrophe with cold resolve—dragged out of her ordinary world through a gate of her own making and into an oversaturated alien land of green skies and oversized suns.

At its center stands the Clockwork Mountain: a real peak hollowed out and packed with steampunk data buses, crystal globes, and twin gate arches—blue to her world, red to the demon plane. The gates are malicious by nature, corrupting everything they touch, and Vanna’s machine has thrown them wide.

Three armies are marching. The silver Elvor advance in geometric lockstep. A river of brightly waistcoated grubs sweeps across the plain. And a vast brute horde wraps the mountain‘s base, demons looming from the arches. Vanna built this. Now she has to end it.

This is my debut novel.
