My name is Nathan Azevedo, and I am a thirty-three year old rice, walnut, and almond farmer from Maxwell California in the United States.
I have been workshopping Mason Maxwell online at the Australian Writers Centre for the last four years. Much of the inspiration and Mason’s voice comes from growing up in Maxwell, my small farm town, and dreaming of a magical world detached from the chaos of our time.
Mason Maxwell is my debut novel. It is an edgy western containing violence, sex, and profanity, but hopefully isn’t too political. I think we all need an escape from political chaos.
