What’s this?

After the traumatic loss of her first patient due to a fatal mistake, Louise abandons her prestigious medical residency and spirals into self-destruction—drowning herself in alcohol and meaningless affairs. Pregnant and broke, she has no choice but to return to her childhood home and the estranged mother she left behind. There she encounters Henry, her ex-fiancĂ©, who still bears the wounds of her abandonment and is now involved with another woman. When Henry delivers Louise’s baby during an emergency, an unexpected bond forms, and he becomes a devoted father figure to her son Ben. Five years later, when Ben is diagnosed with a terminal illness, Henry becomes Louise’s anchor through the unimaginable. Forced to confront the death she’s spent years running from, Louise must face what no mother should endure. Through Ben’s illness and the legacy he leaves behind, Louise discovers healing, forgiveness, and the rekindling of a love she thought was lost forever.
