What’s this?

Ashley and Thomas, an actual medieval knight, have just landed in 1377 England after escaping from the immigration authorities intent on capturing Thomas in the present day. Having fled to the past to ensure they can be together, Ashley is faced with adapting to life as a fourteenth-century baroness. With Thomas called to Parliament, they encounter enemies at court as Thomas, new to the title after the death of his older brother, struggles to build alliances and Ashley struggles to fit the expectations of a medieval woman. Seeking purpose, she becomes embroiled in a political movement that she realizes too late covers a plot against the King. At the same time, her work at a monastic hospital is deemed “miraculous” and draws unwanted attention that their enemies are eager to take advantage of.

Can Ashley conform and counter the plot, and will her and Thomas’s relationship survive the turmoil?
