Catherine is forced to flee the convent as Cécile finds herself trapped in Paris, having unwittingly attracted the attentions of England’s heir, her father’s enemy. Both girls are torn from their familiar worlds and must rely upon the men assigned to their protection. Their separate journeys lead them on a path of discovery, not only to their true identity, but to a place in each other’s hearts.
